About Turmeric

The curcuminoids contained in turmeric rhizome powder, like the piperine contained in pepper berry powder, become available for biochemical exchanges in the body when dissolved.

This way, they can better cross the intestinal wall and reach the bloodstream, where curcumin can play its remarkable role as an antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.

Curcumin is particularly soluble in lipids (oils, fats), which is why it is advisable to cook with fats (vegetable oils, vegetable or animal milks, etc.).

The piperine contained in pepper plays the dual role of promoting the intestinal absorption of curcumin and limiting its rapid natural biodegradation in the liver and intestinal wall.

Hence the importance of associating these two spices.

The turmeric powder used by Aromandise is obtained by gently drying quality rhizomes, rich in curcuminoids.

No extraction operation is carried out of the other active components of the fresh rhizome (turmeric oil or other curcuminoids) with the aim of adding value in another way.

The dry extract is therefore rich in curcuminoids, 6 times more concentrated than the fresh rhizome of the same weight, and equally bioavailable when cooked correctly.
