Vitaloy nail scissors

Slightly curved and hand-polished, these scissors allow you to cut your fingernails and toenails precisely without breaking or cracking them. The oval holes in the handle provide a good grip for all finger sizes.

Handcrafted from high-quality recycled C45 steel (+80% recycled material), with a nickel-free surface and therefore suitable for those with nickel allergies. C45 steel is a carbon steel with a high carbon content. The steel is characterised by its high hardness, which is why carbon steel is more workable and allows for objects with greater precision. Niyok uses a Vitaloy coating, a special coating that does not contain heavy metals, is long-lasting and protects steel items from corrosion.

Niyok scissors are “coated” with copper during production before the nickel-free surface coating (Vitaloy) is applied. After coating, the scissors are hand-sanded to sharpen them. As a result, the copper primer may show through on the finish and the scissors may appear rusty. However, this is just the underlying copper and has no influence on the quality, durability or sharpness. On the contrary, you are holding in your hands a unique piece that was made just for you.
