Helichrysum, from the Greek "Helios chrysos" or "golden sun," is a plant typical of the Mediterranean summer with numerous properties and virtues. Helichrysum hydrosol has calming and regenerative properties, stimulates circulation and healing. Also excellent after sun exposure, it is particularly indicated for combating dark circles and for sensitive skin or skin with couperose.

The helichrysum used to produce this hydrosol, or floral water, is grown in Urbania, in the Marche region, on a small farm where the flowers are hand-picked at their balsamic peak, the period when the plant's flower properties are at their best.

Usage Advice

Thishydrolate for sensitive skincan have different uses:

As a tonic: used pure on the face it has the same function as thetonichelping to restore the skin's correct pH after cleansing.
To refreshandhydrate: Store in the fridge and, if needed, spray on your face for an immediate burst of energy!
As a base for your DIY masks: add hydrosol instead of water to enrich your face cream or hair masks with propertiesvaluable!
As an ingredient for DIY cosmetics: incorporated into the aqueous phase, it is excellent for creating creams for oily, irritated or blackhead-prone skin, strengthening, anti-dandruff and purifying lotions and shampoos, and astringent deodorants for excessive perspiration.
In the hair: the slightly acidic pH of the hydrolate helps to maintain thehairsoft and shiny. It can be used to dilute shampoo or applied directly to hair after washing: in this case, simply spray directly onto damp hair as the last step before drying.
Decongestant for tired eyes and skin: There's nothing better than a compress on tired eyes to reduce dark circles and bags and find a fresh look and relaxed skin.
