Pure Assets: What are they?
The texture of all pure active ingredients is light and impalpable. This is why they adapt perfectly to all skin types and lend themselves to being layered within a beauty routine to reinforce it with the specific action that each skin type needs most.
Our Pure Assets are:
Hyaluronic Acid : a targeted, multi-molecular weight-bearing anti-wrinkle treatment with a plumping and hydrating action.
Coenzyme Q10 : This is the only pure active ingredient in an oil base, so its ideal use is as a booster for facial creams. Simply add 2 drops to each cream application: it has a protective and antioxidant effect.
Plant-based collagen : a plant-based alternative to animal collagen, it has an anti-aging, plumping, and immediate lifting effect.
Eco-fermented : Korean-inspired active ingredient with anti-aging, anti-blemish, and smoothing properties, based on fermented natural ingredients.
Phytoretinol : a natural alternative to retinol with anti-aging, regenerating and lifting action, an equivalent of vitamin A with maximum skin tolerance that mimics the actions of retinol.
Niacinamide + Zinc : a powerful serum with sebum-regulating, calming, and protective action capable of preventing the appearance of new imperfections and reducing sebum production, making the skin less shiny and the texture more compact, even, and luminous.
Peptide complex with Sacha Inchi : anti-aging serum with firming, toning and plumping action, ideal for combating sagging skin on the face and neck.
AHA Peeling : a monthly exfoliating treatment for deep skin exfoliation, with regenerating and soothing action.
Vitamin C : With its strong antioxidant power, it is able to slow down the action of free radicals and has a soothing effect: it softens blemishes and evens out skin texture. It gives the skin extreme luminosity, leaving it fresh and radiant.

1. Are Pure Active Ingredients photosensitizing?
A photosensitizing cosmetic increases the skin's sensitivity to sunlight. A photosensitive cosmetic, on the other hand, oxidizes when exposed to direct sunlight and loses its effectiveness.
None of our Pure Active ingredients are photosensitizing, so they can be used during the day or in the summer without any problems.
Vitamin C is quite photosensitive, meaning it tends to oxidize—and therefore lose its effectiveness—when exposed to sunlight. For this reason, all Pure Actives bottles are made from post-consumer recycled plastic and are equipped with a protective anti-UV filter.

2. Can I use them all simultaneously? How?
All pure active ingredients, except the AHA Peel , can be used morning and night, mixed, used pure on the face, alternating or combining them with your favorite facial creams or serums! However, there are two exceptions:
- Do not use Niacinamide + Zinc and Vitamin C together. If you want to use both, you can use one in the morning and the other at night.
- Do not use Niacinamide + Zinc immediately after applying the AHA Peel, because Niacinamide is very concentrated and should not be combined with exfoliating treatments or products. Again, if you want to use both, you can use one in the morning and the other at night.
All other pure active ingredients are permitted after the AHA peel !
If you want a 360° action routine, you can opt for the Pure Active Anti-aging Kit , which contains all the Pure Actives focused on anti-aging function, or the Pure Active Perfection Kit , ideal for those seeking flawless skin.
3. Can I use them during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
There are no specific contraindications, so you can use Pure Actives during pregnancy. Their formulas are very simple, well-tolerated, and suitable for even the most sensitive skin. In any case, since pregnancy and breastfeeding are unique periods in a woman's life, it's legitimate to ask additional questions! Therefore, you can consult your doctor, who will certainly indicate which ingredients to avoid.
4. What is the difference between Anti-Aging Serum and Pure Active Ingredients?
The anti-aging serum has a more complex formula and is a complete and effective product even when used alone.
Pure Active Ingredients, on the other hand, are products with more specific actions that enhance or personalize each person's beauty routine, and can be combined or mixed with other products to act specifically according to our needs.

5. Can I mix Vitamin E or Coenzyme Q10 with pure active ingredients?
All Pure Active Ingredients are water-based, except for Coenzyme Q10 , which is oil-based: oil and water don't mix. For this reason, we recommend using Coenzyme Q10 as a facial cream enhancer.
The same reasoning applies to vitamin E: it is also oil-based, so you can add 1 drop of vitamin E to your facial cream to enhance its antioxidant, anti-aging, and soothing action.
6. What is the percentage of Vitamin C?
The formula contains a sufficient and safe percentage, proven by clinical studies, to have a brightening and anti-blemish effect. The formulation is extremely simple, and revealing the exact percentage of Vitamin C present would make our formula public. For this reason, the percentage is not stated. The percentage of our Vitamin C allows the active ingredient to perform at a high level, but also to remain stable over time after opening.

7. Which pure active ingredient is most effective against skin blemishes?
Vitamin C , the Eco-fermented Serum , Niacinamide + Zinc , and the Peptide Complex with Sacha Inchi all have anti-blemish properties. Let's look at the differences:
- If the blemishes are caused by redness or post-acne marks : Niacinamide + Zinc will be your pure active ingredient of choice. Its "depigmenting" action is perfect for eliminating blemishes and redness from pimples. You can enhance its action by also adding the Peptide Complex with Sacha Inchi to your routine, which has a dual function for both redness and dark spots.
- If the spots are dark, caused by sun exposure and photoaging of the skin : the antioxidant power of Vitamin C is ideal and can be enhanced by the soothing action of the Eco-fermented Serum and the Peptide Complex with Sacha Inchi . These are indeed the most difficult spots to treat, but with the contribution of functional ingredients we can minimize them and prevent them from appearing in the future.
A complete routine against sunspots could be structured as follows:
- Uniforming Serum + 2 drops of Vitamin C alternating with the Eco-fermented Serum and the Peptide Complex with Sacha Inchi to complete the action.
- Anti-aging protective facial cream SPF 30 for daytime use.
- Pomegranate facial cream , anti-aging and antioxidant, for nighttime use.

The benchmark Pure Active ingredient for combination skin is undoubtedly Niacinamide + Zinc , with a strong sebum-regulating action. You can also combine it with the AHA Peel and complete your routine with the Anti-Imperfection Serum if you have skin with blackheads or pimples.
The Pure Enhancement Actives Kit : all the pure actives contained in this kit combat imperfections while simultaneously performing differentiated and targeted actions on the skin, also having an anti-aging effect.
Other pure active ingredients recommended for combination skin are the Eco-fermented Serum for its unifying action and Phytoretinol for its regenerating action.

A few words about our packaging and how to make this world a better place.
Our choices define us: that's why, at La Saponaria, great work is done on packaging! They decided to eliminate virgin plastic from all packaging, which is being done progressively across all products. So they are using glass jars, recycled aluminum, recycled cardboard, and 100% biodegradable bioplastic, a plastic derived from sugarcane. Another super interesting material is the wonderful re-bottled plastic, that is, post-consumer recycled plastic made from used plastic waste.
What not everyone knows is that regular recycled plastic comes from industrial waste, but it is actually new, having never been used before. This is why post-consumer recycled plastic has added value compared to regular recycled plastic: not only does its creation not involve the creation of new materials, but it also gives new life to already used materials, preventing them from ending up in the sea or in landfills.

All bottles of Pure Actives have anti-UV protection to better preserve the integrity of the product.
Producing organic, eco-friendly, and environmentally friendly cosmetics isn't enough for La Saponaria! Sustainable packaging has always been a priority, and now more than ever.
